The Spanish Network on Biomolecular and Biocellular Computing is composed by seven spanish research groups working in six spanish universities. The aim of the network is the promotion of cooperation between their members to achieve scientific results related to the branch of Natural Computing inspired by the biochemistry of molecules and the functioning of the living cells. The main research topics in which the groups collaborate are
- Membrane Computing (P Systems)
- Networks of Bio-inspired Processors
- DNA computing and computing with biomolecules
- Synthetic Biology
- Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
*The Spanish Network on Biomolecular and Biocellular Computing is funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Education through the Complementary Action TIN2008-0448-E/TIN
